In simple terms, humidity is the measure
of moisture in the air. As you may have seen by reading
through our Lizard
Care Sheets, humidity is given in a percentage. Humidity
measures the water vapor in the air at a specific temperature.
This is compared to the maximum amount of vapor that air
could hold at that same temperature.
Warm air holds more water than cold air. When the humidity
value is 100%, it means the air is holding all the air
it can without creating condensation. If the temperature
of air goes down, the relative humidity will
go up as cooler air holds less water.
Humidity is a very important factor
in the health of pet lizards. Read on and learn more

Humidity for your pet lizards. |
