Amaral's Brazilian Gecko

The Amaral's Brazilian Gecko (Briba brasiliana) is native to the Jalapão Region of Brazil.

It is a nocturnal lizard species, active and hunting for food during the nightime hours. They feed on insects and other small invertebrates. Since they are nocturnal the pupils of their eyes are vertical, and they have fixed eyelids. Amaral's Brazilian Gecko is arboreal, oviparous and are a light blue to grey color.
